DeFi Tax Treatment in New Zealand: Industry Roundtable

This Auckland evening event will focus on digital assets and tax, including key tax considerations for digital assets and the implications of CARF for the New Zealand market. It will be structured as a panel discussion followed by Q&A, and will also include an open forum and discussion on the IRD’s recently released issues paper on the tax treatment of DeFi transactions.

The session is intended to bring together industry participants, tax specialists, and key stakeholders to share perspectives, highlight practical implications, and inform a coordinated industry response ahead of submissions closing on 12 March.
