Blockchain Talk – ICOs and Digital Assets – Stephen Macaskill

7 June, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

ICOs and Digital Assets

This month, we will explore the now-infamous ICO (or “token launch”) phenomenon taking the blockchain world by storm. Stephen Macaskill will discuss how to safely participate in these launches, what their implications are as novel financial instruments and what the future might hold for this new model.

This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP below to confirm your attendance.

About our speaker, Stephen Macaskill: With a decade of experience in monetary theory and traditional financial markets, Stephen dived head first into the cryptocurrency space when his precious metals company was the first in the industry to accept bitcoin as a payment method. Now he is CEO of Digital Asset Exchange, runs the Global Retail Division of Bitcoin.com, and President of the Blockchain Association of New Zealand. Stephen is also an Alumni Board Member of the Foundation for Economic Education, an organisation dedicated to the education of Austrian Economics. He has made presentations across the US on the topics of bitcoin, blockchain technology, monetary theory, and economics at places such as: Money 20/20, Freedom Fest, Denver Bitcoin Center, World Fair of Money, Liberty Forum, and the Foundation for Economic Education.
