Blockchain Meetup – Wgtn

Hey guys,

With the festive season upon us let’s get together for our final onchain blockchain meetup of the year. (The casual sidechain one is sure to be continued.)

Agenda:

5:30 pm: Welcome

5:35 pm: “ISO/TC 307 – Blockchain and DLT and what part NZ plays on the world stage”

Steve Lowes from Standards NZ will talk about the new ISO/TC 307, what it is, how it works, what part NZ will play in the future and how to get involved.

5:50 pm: “ICO developments in NZ”

Geoff Ward-Marshall, a senior associate from DLA Piper will be talking about ICO development, announcements from RBNZ and legal aspects in general. Bring your ICO questions!

6:05 pm: What is NEM?

David Oh who is based in Melbourne and is part of the NEM foundation team is in town sharing what NEM is and their road map to 2018 and beyond.

6:30 pm: Community Shout Outs  

Have something to share? Have an ICO to announce? Here is your chance to take centre stage.

7:00 pm: End
