Blockchain Talk (Akld) – Understanding Blockchain Through Analogy – Matthew Griffin

14 May @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Get the latest updates about blockchain technology in New Zealand and globally. Connect with experts and blockchain based projects happening around New Zealand.

Matthew is the treasurer of the Blockchain Association and works at Blockchain labs, New Zealand’s premier specialists in ICO smart contracts and security auditing. He has been following the blockchain scene since early 2010 and is going to explain the ins-and-outs of blockchain through analogy.

This talk is designed for a non-technical audience who would like to learn more about what is a blockchain, and what can they be used for. Matthew will walk through the history of blockchain technology and will lean heavily on easy to understand analogies to build a conceptual understanding of “The Blockchain”.

The talk will run from 6:30pm to approximately 7:30pm, with time for networking afterwards.

View the event on our Meetup page to RSVP.

The venue for this event has been generously donated by GridAKL.
